Description

This review is intended to help students prepare for the PatientA Patient Care Technician is a healthcare professional who works under the supervision of a registered nurse, physician, or other healthcare professional to provide fundamental patient care. Responsibilities may involve taking vital signs, collecting blood and urine samples, conducting basic diagnostic tests such as EKG, and providing assistance to the physician as required. Care Technician Certification. 

Pre-Requisites

Graduation from High School (or equivalent), and graduation from an approved Patient Care Technician program within the last 5 years.

Or 1-year verifiable work experience as a Patient Care Technician professional.

Duration

40 hours.
