Program Objective/Description

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) program is designed to train the student for an entry level position in all of the relevant aspects of patient care technician assistance,  electrocardiography (EKG), phlebotomy, nursing assistant, home health care needs. This program is designed for those interested for an entry level position as patient care technician in a nursing home, rehabilitation facility, extended care facility, a hospital or as Home Health Care Aid. Upon completion of this program, student will possess the skills and hands on experience needed at an entry level Patient Care Technician utilizing patient care skills in a variety of healthcare settings such as Phlebotomy and EKG fields.

Program Length

30 weeks (7 months)

Morning Classes

Monday thru Thursday
8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Night Classes 

Monday thru Wednesday
6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

Weekend  Classes 

Saturday from
8:00 am to 4:00 pm or

Sunday from
9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Credential: Diploma

Full- Time Classes:
The student will attend a total of
20 hrs per week

Part- Time Classes:
The Student will attend between
10 -15 hrs per week
