Description
A Patient Care Technician is a health technician working under the supervision of a registered nurse, physician, or other health professional to provide basic patient care. Duties may include taking vital signs, drawing blood and urine samples, performing basic diagnostic tests such as EKG, and assisting the physician as needed.
Pre-Requisites
1 year verificable work experience as a Patient Care Technician Profesional , or Graduation from high school (or the equivalent), and graduation from an approved Medical Assistant program within the past five years.
Duration
80 hours.
