However, many potential students feel limited by financial constraints or are unsure how to continue their education. Financial barriers should not prevent anyone from achieving their dreams. That’s why our Financial Aid Office offers personalized assistance to help you explore your financial options and apply for financial aid.

TYPES OF AID AVAILABLE
Federal Pell Grant
This grant is a federal aid program for students that does not require repayment. Amounts are based on enrollment status and financial need. Annual amounts may vary based on federal allocations.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
This program is intended for students with exceptional financial needs, and repayment is not required.
Federal Direct Subsidized Loan
Part of a program that offers low-interest loans based on need to students enrolled at ICR Florida Education at least half-time. This loan requires repayment. The government covers the interest while the student is enrolled at least half-time and for six months after completing their studies.

Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan
Part of a program that offers low-interest loans to qualified students enrolled at ICR Florida Education at least half-time. This loan also requires repayment. Unlike subsidized loans, the student is responsible for paying the interest while in school, although these payments may be deferred until after graduation.

Federal Direct PLUS Loans for Undergraduate Students' Parents
These low-interest loans are available for parents of dependent students to cover educational expenses. They require repayment, including both principal and interest, starting 60 days after the last disbursement.

Scholarship for High School Students
The ICR Florida Education High School Scholarship is available for high school seniors interested in continuing their education at ICR Florida Education.
You may qualify for one of four (4) scholarships (2 in winter and 2 in fall) awarded to high school seniors focused on their careers and motivated for success. These scholarships are valued at $2,500 each and must be used for tuition costs at ICR Florida Education. The scholarships include:
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a high school senior graduating in June of the current year.
- Be interested in attending ICR Florida Education after graduating from high school.
- Demonstrate academic progress toward graduation.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher while attending ICR Florida Education.
- Complete all necessary admission and enrollment requirements at ICR Florida Education.
Application and Selection Process:
- Submit the complete scholarship application online by January 15 or May 15 of each year.
- Submit a 500-word essay describing your career aspirations and why you chose ICR Florida Education to achieve your professional goals.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a school or work reference (e.g., teacher, coach, manager, counselor).
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a family member (e.g., parent, guardian, sibling, grandparent, aunt/uncle, etc.).
- All complete applications will be reviewed after the January 15 or May 15 deadline by the ICR Florida Education Scholarship Committee to determine the recipients.
